Social Grace
Any ideas on how to gracefully bow out of treat time at a social gathering? I usually end up explaining the whole deal and why I can't eat the special treat they made (which usually looks super delicious). I'd rather just say..."(this is where I'd like to have someone put words in my mouth)."

Sugar Free Breakfast?
Breakfast is my hardest meal to stay away from sugar. Lately I've had a spurt of hash browns with eggs. Any other good breakfast ideas?

One Sugar Serving
I'll have to admit, I took my first "sugar serving" of the week and it was kind of hard to contain myself to only 3 of my homemade cookies. Luckily we don't have very many leftover.
I think that rather than trying to find an alternative snack to curb my sugar craving, it would probably be better for me to just leave the kitchen. Will that really work?

Come Join Us- Here's the Rules
If you're looking for a group of people who are all trying to moderate their sugar intake... here it is! This is a new and improved version of something we've done before and everyone is invited. E-mail us or post a comment with a preferred user name and your start date so we can add you to our expanding list!

- Only eat 2 servings of dessert per week (candy bars/cookies/cakes/pies etc.)
- Eat only 1 serving per day maximum from the exception list on the sidebar
- Make a comment on the blog monthly to report your progress
Feel free to e-mail us from the link on the sidebar to make any suggestions on improvement, add an exception to the list, or have questions about whether a sugar is allowed. We will not add any artificially-sweetened products to the "always allowed sugars" list, including Splenda products.
